LOVE&SHOESTRINGS

The one and only Seattle film-making genius (literally, he just won a Genius award) Zia Mohajerjasbi is currently working on an upcoming music video for Macklemore's The Town. Real love and dedication go into each one of his videos (I'm sure you've seen the Hug Song video) and you can catch a preview of the upcoming video here, or even better you should check out his just launched blog here, called Love & Shoestrings. Enjoy...

Store Profile: moksha

Today I visited a new store I haven't seen before on the Ave in U District. Located between 45th and 47th the store looked promising. After stepping inside I realized I loved almost all the clothing I saw in there. Although I wasn't able to purchase anything with my current funds I did see a lot of cool stuff. My new favorite clothing brand has to be OBEY Propaganda and they carried a LOT of it. I recommend taking a stop by if you are ever in the area. I found a blog they have here and I put up some images of some cool clothes if you want to take a peek.

Mas

What I want is mas Nelly Furtado, but not her Spanish music. Sure it's cute and all but we all love the pop Furtado from Loose. Just released was her new video for Mas and I must say I was quite bored, and that hurts me to say about her. Just awaiting for her return to the music I love from her. (Timbaland get at her!!!) Watch her newest video below...

Robin's Therapy

Want to watch a sex tape with clothes on? Robin Thicke delivers almost just that with his new music video for the amazingly catchy Sex Therapy. If you have not heard the song yet, you are in for a treat...

On Your Video Phone

I know I already posted about this song, but I can't not post the video that was just released as well. The extended remix of Beyonce's Video Phone featuring Lady Gaga can be seen below...

Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart

Only Alicia Keys could spin an uptempo and happy beat and fit it with lyrics about heartbreak. Her newest single Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart is all that and more. The video is a bunch of cheese balls but the song is perfection. I can never get enough Keys...

PS Is her tat on her back real?

Wait Your Turn

Double feature of Rihanna goodness pre album release. This could either be a desperation attempt from her record label or just her second single off Rated R, either way I'm happy. Just released was a video for Wait Your Turn off her upcoming album due out next Tuesday and this song speaks to how she believes that now is her turn to shine and all them others out there should just sit back and watch her dominate. She looks killer as always no matter how much she messes with her hair. Enjoy the video below... (better quality here)

Electric Kiss

To anyone who has doubts on whether Lady Gaga actually has talent or not can watch this and make a decision for themselves. I personally think she is a musical innovator mixed with a whole lot of crazy.

Rated R

At first I passed this song off as mediocre, but now, the more I listen to it, the more I am in love with this song. Rihanna truly shows off her evolution as an artist from when she first began. I guess some life experiences can truly mature an artist cause this video is something I can really appreciate, I hope you enjoy it as well... (watch a better quality version of this vid here since I can't embed it on my page)

PS does anyone watch grey's anatomy and think that guy sitting across from her looks like one of the mercy west doctors?? (haha random i know)

Telephone Or Video Phone..

Lady Gaga and Beyonce have collaborated on two hot new tracks for their re-release albums. Lady Gaga has the track Telephone featuring Beyonce on her upcoming The Fame Monster release while Beyonce has Gaga on the remix of her upcoming single Video Phone off I Am...Sasha Fierce. Enjoy both of the addictive tracks below...

The wait is over, Lady Gaga's newest Bad Romance video finally debuted today. This is a whole bunch of crazy, but really, would you expect anything else? Addicted...

Remixes

Here are some remixes you MUST check out. First, Shakira's Did It Again has barely been out but it already has an amazing remix with Kid CuDi. As if the original song wasn't already great, this remix is more upbeat goodness. Listen below...

Secondly, Akon flavors Madonna's most recent single Celebration. The song sounds very different in a good way. Check it out below...

Next, Metro Station's Kelsey is remixed by Walter Meego and is something to jam out to. Listen below...

And last but not least, an amazing remix to Lady Gaga's Paparazzi by Stuart Price. Check it out below...

Digital Rock Star

Space Cowboy just dropped his album Digital Rock Star last week and is currently on the Party Rock Tour with LMFAO. His new album is a constant ball of energy. Some current songs I love from the album that you must check out are below...

Shock Value 2

I heard a long time ago that Shock Value 2 was going to be released by Timbaland then heard nothing for a while, but now we finally have a single to go along with the album. His first single features a new rapper on his label SoShy and of course Nelly Furtado. The track is called Morning After Dark and has potential to be a hit. Apparently Timbaland has been up in the studio with artists such as Shakira, Kings of Leon, Lady Gaga and Paramore working on the new album, so I am very excited to see what comes. Listen to his first single below...

Make Me

Janet Jackson is coming up with a greatest hits album and at the same time has released a new song called Make Me. This song is very reminiscent of her older music and I love it! Her last two albums bombed on the shelves so hopefully this new single will help her out. Check out the song below..

Starstrukk

From the guys who told you to not trust a ho comes the next single off their album Want. 3Oh!3 teamed up with the mighty fine Katy Perry to remix their single Starstrukk and I must say they made the financially smart decision. (sex sells) Katy spices up the song and the video is quite comical, you should check it out below...

Return of the Douche

Chris Brown decided to come out of hiding and make music again, how lovely. His new track I Can Transform Ya is not bad. The video is really cool but then again, the track is produced by Swizz Beatz and therefore after hearing the song once you never want to hear it again unless you want that whistle stuck in your ear. Curious to see how his sales will be after his whole debacle with you know who... Enjoy the video below...

In New York

Who doesn't love Jay-Z? Who doesn't love New York? Therefore, who doesn't just love this song?? (other than the fact that it is way overplayed) Regardless, the video is amazing, Alicia Keys is hot, and New York is just sexy. Enjoy the video below...

Let It Burnnn

The one and only Usher is back with a new single, Papers, and I really don't know what to think about it yet. Considering his last album release was a flop you would think he would try to come back with a smash hit. Not saying this new track is terrible, but with Usher I just have higher expectations. Check out his new track below..

Shakira Did It Again

I am currently OBSESSED with this song and the video that goes with it. This has to be one of the greatest songs Shakira has done yet. It will be released on her upcoming album She Wolf. Enjoy the video below.
