Speaking of Keri Hilson, a new song has been leaked on the internet of hers featuring Akon called Mic Check. I hope it becomes one of her singles because it is very catchy. I just wonder if her album will ever come out!

I really don't need to think hard to know how terrible she is going to be, just watch her first music video for her single Get Back and find out for yourself!

Are you ready for the VMA's this year? Who knows what to expect after last year with Britney Spears opening with Gimme More. More T-Pain Madness

DJ Khaled has produced another hit with T-Pain and Kanye West. Kanye just posted on his blog a new song with Pain, and from what I hear, I like. I just WISH DJ Khaled would SHUT THE HELL UP in his songs!! No one wants to hear a fat middle eastern yelling "WE DA BEST!!!"

Dethroning Katy Perry

Rihanna has finally dethroned Katy Perry on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, coming in at #1 this week with Disturbia and ending her 7 week reign at #1. This will make her fourth US chart-topper and she has both Disturbia and Take A Bow in the top 10. Talk about domination.

Also, rumored boyfriend Chris Brown is apparently upset about a leak of a song supposed to be from his next album titled Graffiti. This song is supposed to be a duet with Rihanna called Electric Guitar. He is upset because the Rihanna verses have not yet been added before the song was leaked on the internet. Chris Brown tells us, "The records not finished. It's supposed to be me and Rihanna's duet."

I Like Girls, They Like Me

Gym Class Heroes have released the music video for their first single (Cookie Jar) off their new album The Quilt. This time the boys are going more urban, hooking up with producers like The-Dream and artists like Estelle and Busta Rhymes. It looks like this album will be a lot better than their first, especially judging from their first single. Watch out for The Quilt hitting shelves September 9th!

Expecto Delayus

Yes, the new Harry Potter film release date has been pushed from November 21 to July 17, 2009 due to the "writers strike." I don't take!! I can't wait till mid-summer next year, I've already been waiting too long!

I am probably late to pick up on this artist, but the more I hear from her the more I like it. Her name is Santogold and she reminds me of a more soulful M.I.A. The main singer is Santi White and she works with ex-ska-punk band artist John Hill to make her music. Below you can check out a live performance and the music video of her song L.E.S. One More Chance

Finally, one of my favorite songs off of Will.I.Am's album Songs About Girls has become his next single, One More Chance. Sadly though, the video needs some help in the cheesy department. Sure it has a cute factor and I give it points for creativity, but I think it could have been done better. Hopefully the song will get air time on the radio though because it's one of his best. Also check out The Donque Song featuring Snoop Dogg off his album if you're looking for some more good beats. Check out the video below.

I know this video is like 4 months old from the 08 BET Awards, but I still can't get over the dance moves in this performance. Shawty Say featuring Lil' Wayne on David Banner's new album The Greatest Story Ever Told feels like Lollipop all over again. Can they at least be more creative with the lyrics and not use most of another song with a catchy beat to make a new song? I guess not. Besides that, this song is pretty catchy, and you can catch the music video below. Does Lil' Wayne ever take a break?

The radio killer is at it again (The-Dream). He has produced a killer beat for the new Gym Class Heroes single Cookie Jar. If Timbaland doesn't watch his back, The-Dream may take his spot as the current hit maker. You can listen to the new Gym Class Heroes below.

Re-Domination

M.I.A. is once again jumping the charts, but with the same song Paper Planes. Although Paper Planes has maintained the #1 spot on iTunes Electronic, it has now jumped up to #3, just under Rihanna and the JonASS Brothers. My guess is that it has to do with being featured in the upcoming film Pineapple Express. I am just glad that she is finally getting the notice she deserves, because her music is very innovative and I applaud that.
