Disturbia

Lucky for me, there was a new Rihanna song leaked today that shouldn't have been released till June 17th. The name of the song is Disturbia and will appear on her Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded album. This song has a funky, dance beat with some creepy lyrics. Knowing her luck, it will probably jump the charts fast if she releases it as one of her singles. One odd thing is the song is called Disturbia and she once had a "thing" with Shia LaBeouf who starred in the movie Disturbia, any connections there?

Usher's Protege

Usher's album Here I Stand was released yesterday and so far, I like what I hear. However, I recently found this Hip Hop group named One Chance who were signed by Usher himself and they live up to being signed by Usher! Their single U Can't with Yung Joc is a pretty amazing song, and hopefully you may think the same.

How Ridiculous Is...

THIS!!!!

Some people are just too sensitive...

The Dutchess Returns

None other than Fergie herself has come back with a re-release to her solo album Fergie as The Dutchess. I guess it is re-release season for everyone!! On her deluxe edition of The Dutchess comes 5 extra songs. The first is the theme for the new Sex & The City movie and is quite catchy. The second song is her collabo with Nelly Party People which will appear on Nelly's new album due later this year. The third song is a cover of Barracuda in which Fergie demonstrates that she can do more than just pop. Her single, Clumsy, has a remix as the fourth track which I must say is not all that great. And finally, her new song Pick It Up is worth a listen as the final track. If you have not watched her newest music video for Party People you should definitely check that, cause Fergie looks hotter than ever in that video.

Eye Candy Of The Week

Here is a new thing I am going to start doing weekly. As you can see, it is called "Eye Candy of the Week" and it will involve none other than.... eye candy that I think everyone should benefit in seeing. So without further ado, the eye candy for this week is...

Here He Stands

Usher's newest album Here I Stand comes out in just a few days (the 27th) but he has just released his second single and video for it. The song is called Moving Mountains and the story in the music video takes place where Love In This Club left off. I like that Usher tries to make his music tell a story, unlike other talentless artists. (e.g. YOU CRANK DAT SOULJA BOY) Currently you can sample his whole album online on mtv.com and you can check out his newest video below.

Too Hot

The one thing I love about Angelina Jolie is the type of roles she seems to pick up in films..: the bad ass chick. And guess what? She is at it yet again, and this one looks pretty amazing from the previews I've seen. The movie Wanted comes out on June 27th and co-stars up and coming actor James McAvoy. Also in the movie is Common (the rapper) and Morgan Freeman. Imdb plot summary states,

"Wanted tells the tale of one apathetic nobody's transformation into an
unparalleled enforcer of justice."

Well, I'm down! Watch the steamy preview below, and be jealous that you too can't bend bullets.

Breaking The Ice

Guess who is back in the recording studio?? None other than Britney Spears! According to reports, she has been back in the studio with x-boyfriend JR Rotem and producer Sean Garrett. JR says of Britney in the studio,

She’s great. She’s like a master at what she does. She’s a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the ‘it’ factor that not every artist has. So it’s always nice to work with her.

Let's hope that she can get it together this time around and actually make some album sales!!! (even though I did enjoy most of Blackout)

Right & Wrong!

So American Idol is finally over!!! And I was right about the winner, David Cook! Let's just hope he makes some good music unlike some previous winners (Jordin "Fugly" Sparks). However, I may have been right about one reality show, but I was totally wrong about my prediction for the winner of A Shot At Love 2 with Tila Tequila. I had guessed that Sirbrina would win, but I was off, she lost on Tuesday, and she was the hottest les in the house!!! Tila will be missing out. Let's just hope that Jay doesn't win that show, because he is an obnoxious hypocrite!!

Battle Of The Davids

David Cook vs. David Archuleta tonight on the American Idol finale. Who do you think will win??? My bets on David Cook, little Archuleta still has a long way to go before he can hit it big, but he does have a lot of talent!!

Are You There, Vodka?

YES! I am so happy to hear that Chelsea Handler's newest book titled Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea has hit the No. 1 spot on the NY Times Best Sellers list! If the book is as hilarious as she normally is on her show, then I definitely think that I need to snag a copy.

Officially Hooked

So I heard this song on the radio the other day and thought it was hella catchy so I went to iTunes to buy it when it told me that I have already purchased this song. I was so confused!! I then went to my iTunes and saw that I had gotten it as a free single of the week but never listened to it, but now I am hooked on this song!! It is extremely catchy and I am sure you have probably heard the song already. The song is called Shake It by Metro Station and you can check out their awesome video here!

Estonian Pop Is A No Go!

I think I may have just watched the creepiest music video ever! This is a new video from Estonian pop singer Kerli and the song is called Walking On Air.

Disclaimer: Do not watch this at night as you may not be able to sleep...

Hottest MCs?

On mtv.com you can check out their new Hottest MCs In The Game list for 2008. Here is a quick rundown on who they chose.

1. Kanye West
2. Jay-Z
3. Lil' Wayne
4. Rick Ross
5. Snoop Dogg
6. 50 Cent
7. Lupe Fiasco
8. Young Jeezy
9. Andre 3000
10. T.I.

First off, 50 Cent is a dusgusting being and shouldn't even be on this list. Second, I love Andre 3000 and all, but did he even make music in '08? If so, I never heard of it. Young Jeezy!!?? Does anyone even like hearing him yell "YEEAHHHH!!!!" let alone his voice sounds like ass. Honestly, I wonder how much mtv got paid to put these people in the positions that they are at. If they were to make a list, I think it should be a little bit closer to this: (if we are talking about radio MCs that is)

1. Kanye West (yes, he finally deserves it)
2. Lil' Wayne (as much as I hate to admit it, he has a lot of talent)
3. Lupe Fiasco
4. Snoop Dogg
5. Jay-Z
6. Pharrell
7. Ludacris
8. T.I.
9. Wyclef Jean (would he be considered an MC?)
10. Common

90210

I don't know how many of you watched the popular series 90210 back in the day, but I surely didn't!! However, I am looking forward to watching the 2.0 version of this show recreated on the CW network this fall. So far previews for it look good, let's just wait and see how it does!

The preview for the new show:

Just Watch

I think this is really sweet, if anyone deserves it, I think they do!

There Was Snow, White Snow

The wait is over, as the new Violet Hill music video for Coldplay has just been released. I do appreciate how Coldplay loves to make the most intriguing videos, however, I really don't know what to think of this one. It seems like a blend of Cloverfield, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and Phantom of The Opera with music being voiced over. I love the song to death and thing it has so much potential to be an amazing video but I don't think this lives up to the amazingness of the song. What do you think?

CW Is Slipping

According to a recent article written by The Wall Street Journal, the CW network appears to be having some trouble! This is very sad news due to the fact that the CW holds the best shows for ages 18-34 (Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Smallville, etc.) If you don't know, the CW network is a merge between the old UPN and WB networks, and has been advertising like MAD for their shows, but are still not getting the ratings. In general, ratings are on a decline due to shows being all over the internet, which I think they should get rid of if they want their ratings to stay well, just get a TiVo or DVR if you have to miss your show! Or you can be ghetto like me and use a VHS. Anyways, if you feel inclined, you can read the article here, otherwise, keep watching the CW!

Chelsea Is My Savior

If you don't know Chelsea Handler, you should, because she is hilarious! Sadly, her talk show is on the E! channel but its okay, she's probably able to talk more shit on that network than if she was on NBC, etc. This past week she made fun of The Hills finale and I think she pretty much nailed each character in a 2 minute segment. You should definitely watch it below.

Breakin' Dishes

Rihanna is doing more than breakin' dishes this year. She just had one of the biggest jumps ever on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her most recent single, Take A Bow. There's not more I need to say, but just read the article below to see the details of her ass kicking.

May 14, 2008 – New York, NY:In one of the biggest jumps ever recorded in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Rihanna’s newest single “Take A Bow” rockets from #53 to #1 this week.

“Take A Bow” also debuts at #1-bullet on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs Chart with a phenomenal first week of 266,696 scans. The song was written by fellow Def Jam artist Ne-Yo and produced by Stargate, the same team responsible for Rihanna’s “Unfaithful” (of 2006), and “Hate That I Love You,” her Top 10 duet with Ne-Yo released late last year.

“Take A Bow” raises the curtain on the upcoming new CD+DVD U.S.release of Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad:Reloaded. The new configuration arrives in stores on June 17th – the week after the album officially marks its historic 52nd week on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The original 12-song CD version of Good Girl Gone Bad – source of the non-stop string of hit singles that began with the MTV VMA and Grammy Award-winning global #1 hit “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z), then “Shut Up and Drive,” “Hate That I Love You” (featuring Ne-Yo), and the current “Don't Stop the Music” – will now be augmented with four bonus tracks: 1) “Take A Bow”; 2) a cover version of Maroon 5’s “If I Never See Your Face Again” (featuring Maroon 5); 3) “Hatin’ On the Club”; and 4) “Disturbia.”

The newly-produced bonus DVD for Good Girl Gone Bad:Reloaded will consist of three components: 1) 75 minutes of live concert footage from a show in Manchester, England last December 2007; 2) a 17-minute documentary feature; and 3) a four-minute home movie of “Umbrella” created by Rihanna’s band.

Good Girl Gone Bad (released June 5, 2007) was the third album release in less than two years by multi-platinum MTV VMA, Grammy, and American Music Award winning artist – and CoverGirl spokesperson – Rihanna. It followed-up 2006’s RIAA platinum A Girl Like Me, containing the back-to-back hits, “S.O.S.” and “Unfaithful”; and her RIAA gold debut from 2005, Music Of The Sun, featuring the worldwide smash, “Pon De Replay.”

The American Dream

Currently, I am really digging anything that The-Dream touches. He is an amazing producer and I wish more people could see it. After all, he did produce Rihanna's smash hit Umbrella. His CD Love/Hate at first didn't seem very impressive to me, but the more I listened to it, the more I realized how amazing and talented he really is. I hope that he will release Fast Car as his next single because it is simply a comfortable, summertime, 80's beat that just flows.

Listen to Fast Car below.

Also, watch the video for his latest single I Luv Your Girl below. I just love how his music videos always have so much eye candy. You should get the original version of this song as well, Young Jeezy isn't in the album version (thanksfully).

Call Me, So I Can Remix It For You

I guess Kanye is on the roll with remixes these days. He just posted a remix to Lil' Wayne's Lollipop which I think is very interesting. Normally a remix has most of the same lyrics with maybe an added verse from another artist, but this remix is just completely different lyrically, but very much the same otherwise. I have to say my favorite part is Kanye at the beginning. You can check it out here on his blog, what do you think about it?

What Would Chris Brown Say?

This video just released today is pretty steamy. All I have to say is that I am very jealous of Adam Levine, and Chris Brown should watch his girl!

Maroon 5 featuring Rihanna - If I Never See Your Face Again

Speed Racer at the Red Light

Sorry to all the Speed Racer fans out there, but apparently Warner Bros. lied about the flop of a films gross sales over the weekend just so they would be in the #2 spot at the box office. At first they stated that it got around 20$ million over the weekend but apparently they only made 18$ million putting them at #3, right under the Ashton Kutcher/Cameron Diaz flick What Happens In Vegas. Iron Man still stays at the #1 spot for 2 weekends in a row, and I believe it deserves it. You can read the full statement below.

Speed Racer’s wreck at the box office was worse than expected. When all the tickets were finally counted today, the Wachowski brothers’ homage to the 1960’s cartoon did $18.7 million, not the $20.2 million Warner Bros. claimed on Sunday. That put the debut in third place, behind the low-budget comedy What Happens in Vegas – a major blow to the egos of studio executives and the reclusive creators of the Matrix trilogy. (USA Today)

The Zohan

Can I just say how excited I am to see this movie? Normally, I am not a HUGE Adam Sandler fan but I do find him quite funny. I do believe though that this new movie of his will be exceptionally funny, at least from the previews that I have seen here and there, and we all know that previews don't mean jack. Either way, June 6th, I will be there watching this as I simply can't imagine Adam Sandler portraying an Israeli commando gone hair stylist. Plus, with an apparent cameo by Mariah Carey in the film, who wouldn't want to watch it?

If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch the trailer here.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Good news for any Scarlett Johansson fans out there, a new Woody Allen film starring none other than her! This would be her third film directed by him in the past three years (previously in Scoop & Match Point). The film is titled Vicky Cristina Barcelona and also stars Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. It is rumored however that Scarlett and Penelope are involved in a sex scene together in the film, wonder how that will do for reviews. All that imdb has as a synopsis for the film is that, "A painter enters a relationship with two American tourists. Conflict begins with the painter's jealous ex-girlfriend."

The film will be premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, and hopefully it will be as good as Woody Allen's previous work with Scarlett.

Audrina vs. Lo

Last night was the Season 3 finale for The Hills and lets just say that there is definitely a new person to hate on the show, and it's not Heidi. Normally, Lauren "Lo" Bosworth comes off as a nice, down-to-earth friend of LC's, however not this time. There is only one word that I can think of to define her, MALICIOUS! She knows what she is doing and she honestly doesn't care because it is giving her more fame in the show, but you know what.. it's not good to be ludacris! Becoming more and more jealous that LC is becoming best friends with Audrina, Lo butts in, moves in with LC and purposefully makes Audrina feel uncomfortable at all times.

Here are some Lo highlights:

"I'm gonna eat all the cheese before she gets here, which is not gonna be good for my behind."

"I'm like nervous to go into her little house over there. I'm like not welcome."

"If she feels that way, then it's just gonna continue to grow, it's not gonna get better."

"I'm really glad you guys are going to talk it out.. but at the same time, like experiences I've had with past roommates, if there's going to be problems, then there's just going to be more problems."

All The Girls Standing In The Line For The Bathroom

It's music tuesday ya'll! To start off, one of my favorite producers Pharrell just released his latest single with his old rock group N.E.R.D. on iTunes. If you haven't heard it yet you should, it's called Everyone Nose and it stays very much in style of old N.E.R.D. material. However, what I am most amazed by is the remix of this song that Kanye just put on his blog featuring himself, Lupe Fiasco, and Pusha T of Clipse. According to him its just a preview but I hope it gets released cause it has an amazing beat! Kanye and Pharrell should work together more often as I am still in love with ther first collabo Number 1 on Pharrell's older album In My Mind.

Click here to hear the remix off of Kanye's blog.

Superwoman

Alicia Keys seems to be superwoman and more considering her agenda these days. Not only is she currently running through her As I Am tour to promote her recent album, but she is also already in progress on a new album! Some people just can't take a break. She states,

I've been thinking about the next album, since we kind of wrapped up this album.

Part of what I've been thinking about is, 'What are the ways that I want to express myself this time?' " she says "When I was just finishing recording 'As I Am,' I said to myself that I want to do something that's totally stripped-down, stripped-back, totally piano-based, singer-songwriter; a Joni Mitchell-Carole King type of vibe.

I might do that, but you never know where life takes you, where the music's going to take you.

If there was any artist out there today that I would say has pure talent it would probably be Alicia Keys. Not only has she dominated Billboard charts and filled up many arenas on tour, she has also proved herself as an astounding actress and a humanitarian. I don't know about you but I think her role in Smokin' Aces is impressive. She also co-starred with Scarlett Johansson in The Nanny Diaries as one of her best friends.

As for her humanitarian efforts, Alicia Keys asked the crowd in her LA concert last week to send a text to the number 90999 so that money would be donated to Keep A Child Alive.

In the midst of all her work she also just released her latest single from As I Am, titled Teenage Love Affair. This song definitely has a more playful vibe compared to her previous serious toned singles (No One, Like You'll Never See Me Again, etc.) Enjoy the video for it below.

UPDATE: I watched the video again and saw that she is advertising for Keep A Child Alive in the video as well, haha, rand.

Cruel Summer

Some amazing news for any fans of Ace of Base out there. They are currently on tour till 2009 *AND* working on a new album! Ace of Base hasn't put out an album since Da Capo was released in 2002. One thing I do notice however is that there used to be 4 people in their group, yet their new promo photos only show 3... what happened to the blonde girl? Besides that, you can expect to see their new single here as soon as I can get my hands on it, as it is still in the works according to their official site.

For now, enjoy one of my favorites of theirs below, see if it stirs up any memories.

In This Club

One could only expect Usher to recruit the best for the remix to his ultra successful single Love In This Club. Usher has just uploaded to his myspace part 2 of the song and it features none other than Beyonce & Lil' Wayne. I find it amazing how he can tone down such an upbeat song and make it into a slow song that will literally be perfect for making love in a club. His newest studio album Here I Stand hits shelves May 27th and you can only expect the best from Usher.

I'm not really feeling the Lil' Wayne verse, what do you think? Enjoy it below:

New & Improved Mischa Barton

I don't know about you, but I definitely have my eye on Blake Lively from the show Gossip Girl. I think it is really sad how this show has such lower ratings than The OC had yet I think it is an amazingly well-written drama. At best, The OC had over 12 million viewers for one episode, yet the most Gossip Girl was ever able to achieve is around 3 million tops. Maybe in general people are watching less TV? Whatever it is, I think Blake Lively (Serena from GG) does such an amazing job in the show and did I mention she looks a 100 times better than Mischa Barton.

I think more of you should start watching, if you don't already.

Happy Mother's Day!

A shout out to all the mothers out there for simply being awesome. What better way to celebrate mothers day than with an affectionate moment with an amazing mom and another amazing mom-to-be enjoying a lovely baby shower. Who doesn't love the Spears family???

Standing Ovation

The one person who definitely should Take A Bow is Rihanna herself. I think Rihanna has either brainwashed America into buying her songs or she just knows how to smash radio charts. Even though her newest single Take A Bow has only recently been released on iTunes, Tuesday May 6, 2009 to be exact, it has been stuck in the #1 position since it was released. With little advertisement from her record label, Rihanna has managed to kick off contenders such as Madonna and Mariah who have been in the game for decades longer. It is nice to see some new blood dominating the charts, and I am damn happy it is Rihanna.

The super steamy video has also just been released, if you like Rihanna, you just may like this video...maybe... (she does need to grow out her hair though..)

Hair Braider

Unless you've been living in a wine cellar, you may have heard about the scandal surrounding Mr. Robert Kelly (R. Kelly). His child pornography trial has been postponed since June 2002, however, there may be luck for those like me who believe that he DESERVES some punishment.

Sadly for R. Kelly, a woman claims that she can testify against him saying that she was involved in a threesome with R. Kelly and the victim (a 13 or 14 year old at the time). She apparently has proof that she is the girl in this video with R. Kelly and the victim and if this is the case, R. Kelly may be recording his last song in a while. I think it is very sad how this case has been postponed for over 5 years while he manages to keep making new albums and make more money. I guess this just shows all of us how much effect celebrity status as well as a butt load of money can do for a person.

Meanwhile, R. Kelly has also released another single named Hair Braider this past week and guess what, it kinda sucks...hard! You can hear it below (if you really want to waste 3 minutes)

Viva La Vida, But Not In Seattle

The amazing entity known to many as Coldplay have anounced their North American tour yesterday and as all great artisits do, they are skipping Seattle! I always wonder how such a diverse, music-filled city like Seattle gets skipped by so many amazing artists that go on tour. How can you go to Omaha, Nebraska (no offense to the Omahaians) and not come to SEATTLE, WA??? Anyways, I am mind boggled but hopefully if you are in a city they are going to, I am sure Coldplay will blow your mind.

Click here for their full Viva La Vida tour itinerary.

Fantasy Ride

Some very exciting news for me that I just read is that Ciara is dropping a new album named Fantasy Ride in August! I have been listening to her music since she first came into the scene and I love her style of music and I hope that she will keep it up with her third album. It has definitely been a while since I have heard ANY news regarding her but I guess we will all be seeing more of her soon. Her first single is called High Price and features none other than Ludacris. Let's hope it can be as good if not better than their first collabo Oh. Also, Ciara will be featured on Missy Elliott's new song called Hip Hop Don't Die. I guess she has been busier than I thought!

My First Hater

So I guess the one thing that comes along with blogs is what is known as a "hater." I think that urbandictionary.com defines it very well when they say,

1. hater

A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person. Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse down a notch.
Susan: You know, Kevin from accounting is doing very well. He just bought a house in a very nice part of town.
Jane (hater): If he is doing so well why does he drive that '89 Taurus?

A thank you to my hater and hope this post finds you well :)

Moving At The Speed Of Light

Alright, I can't lie anymore. In the past I have been constantly hating on Chris Brown and calling him talentless and saying that the only thing he has is amazing dance skills and great productions from top notch producers. This time, I think it has finally hit me, he has SOME talent. I won't fully admit to saying that he has much talent since his voice sucks ass and needs some sort of machine to enhance it, however his new song Forever that will be on his re-release of last years Exlusive album is catchy as hell, and now he has made an amazing music video to go along with it.

It is definitely worth it to watch the whole thing.

All Her Stripper Friends

Last season when I watched A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila I totally guessed from the start that she was going to pick Bobby, however I wouldn't be able to prove that since I didn't tell anyone so this season I am going to guess again that Tila is going to pick Sirbrina as the winner for the second season. The cool thing is that I have a friend who says a mutual friend knows her since she is from the Seattle area, so I am definitely rooting for her to win and lets see if I am just a TV genius or not.

For now, you can enjoy her song Stripper Friends which plays during the opening of the show, its actually kinda catchy..

Hazel..

Currently (and for the past 2.5 years) I have been working for this company called Starbucks, don't know if you've heard of it, but working there always gives me some enjoyable stories about how rude some people can really be. What way better to vent off steam from work than blog about how stupid some people are so I can feel better, right? (Wrong! But I will continue anyways)

At my Starbucks in Loehmann's Plaza we have a regular customer named Hazel who shows up at our store EVERY single morning the second we unlock the doors. If you do not know, Starbucks opening shifts start at 4:15AM and we open our doors at 4:50AM. Believe it or not, she is there every morning, snow or sunshine, and is always ready to be impossible to deal with! First off, she speaks through this little handheld machine that she holds up to her voice box and she sounds half robotic, half devil. One of the best stories I have of her is when she requested to buy a pound of our lovely Pike Place Roast. So, another barista went over, scooped out 1 lb of coffee, ground it for her, and I walked it over to her table. She seemed satisfied...but of course she wasn't!!! Five minutes later she walks up to the register and luckily I happen to be there to give her some attention. She holds up her coffee and a separate pound of ungrounded coffee off of the shelf and tells me that it seems that her coffee has less in it and that she paid for a full pound and wants that full pound. I therefore tell her that after a coffee is ground, there may appear to be less coffee in the bag since there is less air, common sense right? WRONG!! She then asks me to weighher coffee that is ground (FYI coffee also loses weight when it is ground) and it comes up to weigh 0.99 lb on our scale. She is furious that we would try to give her less than a pound when that is what she paid for. So I decide that I will be a smart ass and offer he 0.01 pounds of ground coffee so she can get her "full pound." Surprisingly enough, she seems satisfied and wants me to do that for her, so i grind up 4-5 beans of coffee and put it in a bag which weighed about 0.05 lbs. I take it over to her table and say, "Hazel, here is your 0.01 lb of Pike Place Roast you requested." then I resume work.

CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH!!??

Penelope

Normally, I don't find many things amusing and you can ask many people about me and I can be a pain to deal with when it comes to humor. However!! When I watched this video I pretty much wanted to cry because it is one of the funniest skits I have ever seen, and hopefully it will have the same effect on you. I think it is hilarious that it almosts exactly portrays one of my friends (yes you sasha) and how stupid we act around eachother. But no more reading, for now just watch...

Real World Gets Too Real...

If you don't know that I watch a hell of a lot of television, you will soon find out. The new episode of the Real World: Hollywood was maybe a little too real for me to watch this week. If you have or haven't been regularly watching the show, this clip will still probably freak you out. Let me set the scene...

One of the roomies in the house (Joey) has a drinking problem and on this night he drank from my guess would be around 9pm till about 8am!!! After drinking he keeps yelling at his room mates that he wants to leave and literally scares the crap out of them as well as me! If I was in that house I would be SOOOO scared of him....he needs to not work out for 4 hours a day...

Bye Bye Nick

Mariah Carey has just released her music video for her second single off of her new album E=MC2 and guess what??? None other than new man Nick Cannon stars in the video as her 'love interest.' I don't know why but apparently they got married last week in the Bahamas. All I have to say is congratulations to Nick Cannon for becoming that much richer because we all know that he really has no future career in, well...anything!

For now you can at least enjoy the wonderful song that goes along with this video.

On Violet Hill

I don't know about you but ever since I first heard Coldplay, I instantly fell in love. I would call myself a newer fan of theirs since I only started to listen to them when X&Y came out, however, I have to say that Chris Martin is an extremely innovative artist. I love how he has collaborated with a variety of people (Kanye, Jay-Z, Swizz Beats, etc.) as well as producing some amazing music with his own band. Their newest CD Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends (yea i don't get the title either) happens to have an amazing first single which they were giving away for FREE on their website, but not anymore. For now, you can enjoy it in all its amazingness below.

If I Never See Her Face Again...I Would Mind!

So, as I guess would be predicted of me if you knew me, my first actual post is on none other than my first true love, Rihanna. As you may or may not know, Rihanna is re-releasing her 2007 smash studio album Good Girl Gone Bad. On this re-release there will be 4 new tracks including her new single, Take A Bow, and also her collabo single with Maroon 5, If I Never See Your Face Again.
