Wow, it has been a while since I have posted and I am sorry, however, finals are to blame as is my first 40 hour work week in god knows how long. Anyways!!! Lil' Wayne dropped his newest studio album Tha Carter III this past Tuesday, and according to reports, his sales are expected to be between 850,000-950,000 in its first week! To put that into perspective, Mariah Carey's E=MC2 album only sold 463,000 in its first week and currently holds the record for this year. I guess its' hard to say hip hop is dead when sales like this go down!

"hip hop is dead" doesn't mean no one buys hip hop. It says people stopped buying good hip hop and buy shit artists who don't know how to rap like Kanye West or 50 Cent (fitty) or Lil' Jon. Mad respekt to Kanye's producing, but he needs to shut the hell up. 50 cent probably shouldn't do stuff that requires talent.
As for little Jon (yes, little Jon), lemme just go out by quoting his famous song:
"To the window (TO THE WINDOW), to the wall, (TO THE WALL)
To the sweat drop down my balls (MY BALLS)
To all these bitches crawl (CRAWL)
To all skeet skeet motherfuker (MOTHERFUKER!) all skeet skeet god damn (GOT DAM)
To all skeet skeet motherfuker (MOTHERFUKER!) all skeet skeet god damn (GOT DAM)"
Yes folks, he's talking about skeet from the window to the wall. For all of you who are wondering, that means he ejaculated his seamen a long distance while bitches are crawling. Genius.
I know, I know, its a good beat. But does that mean I can have some horrible song writing skills and still make awesome beats (see above mentions)? That's what the notion "hip hop is dead" is all about.
Don't get me wrong, I love good beats. I listen to TI, for god sake. People just need to realise that the quality has gone down for the worse, lyric wise, and shouldn't take it Anyways, I hope the Carter III is good, ill peep that soon.
Just my 5 cents (I feel like hoodean for making a long serious blog)
